Koning & Hartman and VCK Logistics Supply Chain Solutions sign contract for T-Mobile/Huawei Spare Parts Management.

Koning & Hartman and VCK Logistics SCS have signed a multiyear agreement covering parts management on behalf of T-Mobile. For Huawei, the two companies developed a proposition offering national technical and logistics support coverage for the T-Mobile network with Huawei equipment.

The spare parts management service features a single solution for centralized logistics, technical, logistical and configuration services, as well as field services. The logistics models encompasses a network of centralized and decentralized stock sites supported by an intelligent online management information system.

Says Rob Appels, Commercial Director for VCK Logistics SCS

“The market needs a single end-to-end parts management solution, in which the entire process is 100% transparent. This means that replacing faulty parts, replenishment, repair returns, (de)centralized stocks, configuration status and so on are physically and administratively covered by one single model and can be visualized and benchmarked at a glance. In partnering with Koning & Hartman, which will handle the technical part, we are able to offer one single solution.”

According to Oswald Coene, CEO at Koning & Hartman

“Management and maintenance of mobile networks, fiber optic networks and existing cable networks are becoming ever more important. Spare Parts Management is a vital component. For us, handling spare parts management for T-Mobile in partnership with VCK Logistics SCS is an excellent opportunity to showcase our expertise as a technical service provider in the telecom industry. Our certified field service engineers will take over a number of important logistical processes from T-Mobile so the company can focus on customer satisfaction and excellent national coverage instead of operational issues.”
